I am quite behind on new collectible posting. So I am back today with a series of posts over (hopefully) the next few days. Today I present EXO-6 Commander Chakotay and Seven of Nine from Star Trek Voyager, recently acquired from Sideshow. Commander Chakotay is a solid entry in the Voyager line. As always, we have quality uniform tailoring and coloring. Paint work is beautiful as always, some have expressed issues with his eye placement, but I think he looks quite well. As always, the sculpt is better in person and I think it’s a good likeness of the character. Our normal slew of accessories here, nothing super unique but a solid addition to the collection. Seven of Nine is a beautiful realization of the character. The custom body that was designed is gorgeous, getting to proportions and unique ribbing in the torso to a tee. The costume is beautiful, very happy they went with the purple hued bodysuit, thought I know some would really love the silver one, I think this is one of my favorite versions. Sculpt and paint and very nice, the extra details in the Borg implants on both head and hand are nicely done. The matching away team belt and holsters are a nice touch. She’s a bit hard to balance on her own with the heels but that is a minor complaint. As always, EXO-6 is hitting it out of the park with their Star Trek line in my opinion. We are getting all the characters we could want, and have a variety of options for any of the series we may be a fan of. This is a real renaissance in Star Trek collectibles that can compare to the line of 1:6 figures for Star Wars. Being a fan of both franchises, this makes me a very happy nerd.
