So little story behind this but, two years ago I attended a small convention in California and the artist David Mack was there. We got to talking and he and I agreed on a commission of my favorite Marvel character Felicia Hardy/Black Cat on one of my blanks to add to my collection of sketches. I was only there for one day of the convention and he asked me if it was ok if he took my address and mailed it to me. I agreed. Well he’s a busy man (numerous marvel project including Daredevil:Born Again)so I would periodically check in and see how it was going. There was several times he said he would mail it but forgot to ship it. So last year I told him I would have my friend pick it up at SDCC. On the last day of the con, she went to get it and he didn’t have it! He apologized and I figured we would try to get it from him this year. Well two years was worth the wait! He had said he was going to do a nice one to make up for the wait and man he wasn’t kidding. This is what he did for me and this is truly a cover quality commission from a super talented guy.
