Today I have some clones to share! We have Hot Toys Captain Vaughn and Sideshow Commander Fox. It’s nice to be able to see how the older Sideshow clones fit side by side with the newer ones of the Hot Toys line! Captain Vaughn is a nice edition to the named Clones in the Star Wars line. Though he didn’t get a lot of screen time, he obviously mixes well with the 501st Deluxe to make Ashoka’s battalion. He is solidly built, nicely casted armor. We have a couple of delicate antenna accessories, have to be extra careful with those. We have our standard clone accessories and the addition of the holoprojector with Ahsoka hologram. No headsculpt but I don’t believe he showed his face anyway. Not a bad figure to add to the collection. Commander Fox is one of those coveted named Clones from the old Sideshow line. Though Hot Toys just announced their version of him, I really don’t see much of a difference between the two figures. Obviously a couple of paint differences and the body will be more solid. Luckily for his age, Fox is still strong enough to hold a decent pose. Still baffling they didn’t go with the Phase II Fox instead of Phase I to go with the Coruscant Guards. I had this Phase II helmet sculpted and painted to his Phase I color even though it’s not canon to give me some options. All in all, a great figure for its age and if you already have it, I feel like there is little reason to get the Hot Toys one. Hope you enjoy these guys. Nothing to complex here but fun for the army builders. Some variation to pose with and it’s cool to have groups of the different types of Troopers. Happy collecting! #SideshowCollectibles #HotToysCollectibles #StarWars #YesSideshow If you liked this post and may be ordering this figure, please use my referral code (if you are feeling charitable): Captain Vaughn: Commander Fox (Hot Toys):
