Mail call! Anakin made it home today! -- For anyone who didn't see my post yesterday, UPS slapped the wrong sticker on the package and dropped it off in another town like ten miles away where someone named Mike inexplicably signed for it. 🤷 Multiple calls and reports later, they retrieved the box and finally tonight dropped it off *here*. Unopened, too! (***ETA: I peeled the stickers on the box and found out where exactly it was misdelivered to: a US Coast Guard dry dock facility! 🤯 No wonder they didn't spot it upon delivery, probably got a lot of boxes and didn't pay any mind/see one having a Hot Toys logo.***) (And I'm glad to say Sideshow was so cool about it when I contacted them yesterday and if needed they would have been able to send out a replacement. Hopefully now *that* figure will eventually go to someone on waitlist. Fingers crossed UPS isn't doing this crap with everyone's figures. 😅 I'm just really glad I was able to get after them so quickly.)
